The woodcock migrates
Every season is spring, summer, autumn or winter, we are in the area with species such as magically appear "out of nothing." Sometimes we have nurtured about the habits of the species, but usually we tend to know little about the misadventures of each animal, except that this has been radiolabeled-banding or so their incredibly busy lives often get in the darkest of forgetfulness. And this, if anything, is accentuated in birds of those that go unnoticed.
As often happens with species declared as hunting, the woodcock (Scolopax rusticola ) received multitude of names depending on the area where we are. Among the most common nicknames are those of deaf or woodcock. Here in the region of Ortegal, this forest feathered bird is the number one objective of the sights of hunters. Well, if any of them, even by mistake, falls into this window digital and read these lines, you should know that when you press the trigger trying to guess at the zigzag flight deaf, with stories just as precious as that reflected in the pages of the Basque newspaper dates back.
